Stock Performance of Discount Brokers May Be Bullish Indicator

Shares of discount brokers such as Charles Schwab have outperformed the S&P 500 Index by the greatest extent since 2003, which could indicate that retail investors are turning bullish, reports Bloomberg.

The shift could be significant as retail investors have pulled approximately $400 billion from stock mutual funds over the past four years.
