Retirement Accounts Rebound from Financial Crisis

The average 401(k) balance now exceeds the average prior to the 2008 financial crisis, according to data from the Investment Company Institute. So reports Pensions & Investments.

In 2007, the average was $76,534 compared to the $94,482 balance at the end of 2011, which is the most recent data available.
