Millennials Overexposed to Equities: Study

Millennials had two-thirds of their assets invested in equities at the end of 2013. So reports ThinkAdvisor.

A new study by the Investment Company Institute and the Employee Benefit Research Institute found that two-thirds of investors in their 20s, and more than 62% of investors in their 30s, have 80% or more invested in equities. Equity exposure has increased substantially from 2007 and may be a result, in part, of the use of target date funds in retirement plans.
