Emerging Markets Companies Increasing Dividends

As many as 80% of emerging markets companies are paying dividends. That's up from 60% in 1998, according to a recent study published by Dow Jones Indices. So reports FinancialPlanning.

At the same time, the aggregate payout ratio has been increasing, contrary to developed markets, which have seen a decline in the payout ratio.
