Advisor Pleads Guilty to Stealing $1.6 Million

Brian Keenan of Red Bank, N.J. has pleaded guilty to stealing $1.6 million from clients while serving as a trustee with the midtown, N.Y. firm Train, Babcock Advisors. So reports Patch.

Keenan has received maximum sentence of seven years in prison after pleading guilty to first degree Grand Larceny on charges stemming from his use of clients’ money for his own purposes, such as paying off credit cards.
