SEC Appoints Chief Economist

The Securities and Exchange Commission has appointed Mark J. Flannery as its chief economist and director of the Division of Economic and Risk Analysis. So reports Law360.

Flannery currently teaches at the University of Florida’s Warrington School and will fill a vacancy created by the departure of Craig M. Lewis.
