House Democrats have thwarted proposed legislation by Republicans that would water down the Dodd Frank Act. So reports ThinkAdvisor.

The collection of Bills, called the Promoting Job Creation and Reducing Small Business Burdens Act, failed to get the required support of two-thirds of the House to pass.
