Wealthy Retirees Are Not Overspending in Retirement

 

 

A study of retirement assets during the 2000s has concluded that retirees in the top quintile of wealth have been spending substantially less than their savings allows for. So reports the Journal of Financial Planning.

The study found that the wealth of retirees in that category increased, suggesting that many American’s are spending considerably less than the amount that would put them in danger of depleting their assets.
