Merrill, Wells Welcoming More Employees Back to the Office
Advisors are beginning to return to the offices in greater numbers.
Merrill Lynch Wealth Management, for its part, is reopening offices to at least 10% of employees. It expects far more than that 10% will be going into their offices in the coming weeks. So reports Advisor Hub.
Meanwhile, Wells Fargo Advisors is upping capacity to 40%. Neither expect offices to be half full until at least after Labor Day.
Both Morgan Stanley and UBS declined to comment for the Advisor Hub article.
None of the four firms have fully mandated a five-day, in-person workweek, although some top execs have been touting the importance of in-person interaction.
