Ex-Top 100 Advisor Pleads Guilty to Securities Fraud

Thomas. J. Buck, who was a top 100 ranked advisor with Merrill Lynch, is scheduled to be sentenced next month after have pleaded guilty to securities fraud. So reports the Indianapolis Business Journal.

Buck has already agreed to pay $5 million following a Securities and Exchange Commission probe of the violation, which resulted in the advisor’s clients losing $2 million because he recommended products with excessively high fees.
