FINRA Scrutinizing Robo Advisor Risk Management

The Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) is investigating how robo advisors manage risk, says Dawn Calonge, surveillance director at the organization. So reports Financial Planning.

For example, the regulator is asking the advisors to explain how they assess clients’ risk tolerance, record client data, and allow clients to update or change their investment profiles.
