Morgan Stanley Boss to Young Workers: You’re Nuts Not to Be in the Office

Morgan Stanley managing director Chris O’Dea told unmarried workers under the age of 35 without kids that they “are nuts not to be in the office all the time.” So reports The New York Post.

Morgan Stanley2O’Dea made his comments on a conference call, which took place prior to news of the Omicron variant.

Earlier this year James Gorman, CEO, said he would be “disappointed” if workers of all ages did not return to the office by Labor Day. He also suggested those who did not come back could see a pay cut.

Morgan Stanley leadership contends that now is a great opportunity for younger workers to learn from more experienced employees, and that won’t happen in the same way if they’re having meetings over Zoom while still in their pajamas.
