Some Wall Street Firms Paying Interns $16k a Month or More

As the battle for Wall Street talent continues to rage, even some interns are seeing their compensation soar. So reports Financial Advisor.

dollar 3706548 640 smallIntern pay jumped 37.2% at top global investment firms, while it rose 36.9% at large banks, according to Wall Street Oasis. Wall Street banks are not just competing with each other for talent–they also up against private equity firms that pay more and tech firms and other industries with more casual and flexible workplaces.

For example, trading firm Jane Street is paying its interns $16,356 a month.
