In a recent Wells Fargo survey of individual investors, only 33% of respondents said they have the ability to retire comfortably and only 40% said they have established an emergency fund. So reports MarketWatch.

Encouragingly, 49% of respondents said they believe they could benefit from the help of a professional advisor.
