Recent work from research firm HFR has determined that 904 hedge funds were closed last year, a three-year high. So reports ThinkAdvisor.

New fund launches fell to the lowest level since 2010. Nevertheless, the investment product category finished the year with a record-high $2.62 trillion in assets.
