A 122-Year-Old Frenchwoman Made the Right Bets

Jeanne Calment lived to 122 and illustrates why advisors should help their clients plan for longevity when preparing to retire. So reports Forbes.

At age 90, Calment, who was a heavy smoker, sold her house with an agreement that she would receive monthly payments until she died, at which time the ownership of the home would transfer to the purchaser.
