President Appoints New SEC Chief

Mary Jo WHitePresident Barack Obama has named Mary Jo White as the chairwoman of the Securities and Exchange Commission, reports AdvisorOne.

Upon approval by the Senate Banking Committee, she will replace Elisse Walter, who has been serving as temporary chairwoman.
