Industry Groups Keep Fighting DOL Fiduciary Rule

A group of industry organizations has filed litigation seeking to kill the Department of Labor’s fiduciary rule after efforts by the House of Representatives last month fell short of accomplishing the same goal. So reports CNBC.

The Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce have joined with other organizations and have filed the litigation with the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas, which is well known for being sympathetic to businesses.
