Retirement Plan Participants Lack Access to Income Options

In a recent TIAA-CREF survey, 72% of respondents either said they participate in defined contribution plans that lack retirement income options or they are unaware of the plans offering such products. So reports planadvisor.

At the same time, 40% of respondents say they want to make sure their retirement assets are safe, regardless of market conditions.
