A group of former SEC chairmen, commissioners and senior staffers have sent a letter to the SEC that opposes a proposal to enact additional regulations on money market funds, according to a recent Reuters report.

The group includes former chairmen Roderick Hills, David Ruder, Richard Breeden and Harvey Pitt.
