LPL Slapped with Nearly a $1M Fine Over Alts Sales

The Financial Industry Regulatory Authority has hit LPL Financial with a nearly $1 million fine over charges that the firm failed to properly supervise sales of alternative investments. So reports Ring of Fire.

The company had previously agreed to also pay $4.8 million in restitution to clients.
